and co-op prices are a horror story unto themselves.
The $1.5 million that Dr. Noga Harizman, 43,
and her husband, Zwika Pres, 44, had budgeted
for an apartment for themselves and their
three children would have gotten them a lovely
home in short order almost anywhere else in
the country. But in New York, it took Dr.
Harizman, an eye specialist, and Mr. Pres,
who recently started a chain of organic Mediterranean
restaurants called Nanoosh, two years to find
